Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

This policy explains how LUKE Photography, a business of AIB Rentals, LLC (“we,” “us”), collects, uses and protects information when you use www.lukeramey.com (the “site”), book a session, view a gallery, order prints, listen to a podcast we produce or otherwise work with us. What we collect

  • What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, organization and the details you share when you book, ask a question, sign in to a gallery or pay an invoice.
  • Print and product orders. Your shipping address, email and phone, plus the photos and products you choose.
  • Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We see the amount, the last four digits and the card brand, but we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Photos and video. Images and video we create for you, and any files you send us.
  • Basic usage data. Pages viewed, podcast downloads, gallery and video views, the referring site, device and browser type, and an approximate location (country, region, city) based on your network. We do not keep IP addresses. To count unique visitors we store a one-way code made from your network address and browser that changes every day and can't be traced back to you.
  • Cookies. We use only the cookies the site needs to work: keeping you signed in to a gallery you unlocked, remembering your print cart, and keeping our own admin signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To provide our services: scheduling, shooting, editing, delivering galleries and video, producing podcasts and fulfilling orders.
  • To communicate with you about bookings, deliveries, invoices and orders.
  • To get paid and keep accurate business and tax records.
  • To understand which pages, galleries and episodes people use, so we can improve them, and to send podcast hosts reports about their own shows.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam and fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe processes payments and invoices.
  • WHCC (White House Custom Colour) prints and ships print and album orders, using your shipping details.
  • Vercel hosts the site. Supabase hosts our database. Cloudflare stores and delivers photos and video.
  • Resend sends our emails. Google hosts our calendar for scheduling.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks forms for bots.
  • Our accountant sees business financial records for bookkeeping and taxes.
  • Podcast listening platforms (such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon and YouTube) receive the public episodes we publish.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Financial account data (Plaid)

For our own bookkeeping, we connect our own business bank and credit card accounts through Plaid Inc. to bring in transaction records. Only we connect these accounts, and only after giving our consent. We use that data only to keep our books. It is stored encrypted, is only visible to our signed-in admin, and isn't shared beyond our accountant. Plaid's handling of this data is covered by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. We don't connect client or visitor bank accounts.

How long we keep it

  • Business, payment and tax records: seven years, as tax law expects.
  • Client galleries and project files: as long as the gallery is active, or until you ask us to remove it.
  • Usage data: kept in summary form; the daily visitor code can't be linked back to you.
  • Bank connections: when one is disconnected, its access is deleted right away. Records already in our books are kept with our other business records.

How we protect it

The site runs on encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Our admin requires a password plus a two-step code from an authenticator app, and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will let you know if a breach affects it.

Your choices

  • Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing luke@lukeramey.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Some records (like invoices) we have to keep for tax purposes.
  • Unsubscribe from any non-essential email with the link in it, or by replying.
  • Ask us not to use a photo of you in our portfolio or marketing, and we'll take it down.

Children

We photograph minors (for example at dance recitals and school events) only through their parents, guardians, schools or organizations. Galleries of minors are delivered to those adults. The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information online.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll post a notice on the site.
